Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to read about my Legendary Insights. My name is Laura Legendary, I am the founder of four web destinations, each bearing the Insights name. Each is described below.
Legendary Insights serves two purposes. The first is to act as a gateway site to each of the others. More importantly, however, this site is the home of the Legendary Insights Foundation.
The Legendary Insights Foundation is a small private organization which will serve to provide charitable assistance, in the form of technology acquisition, to individuals who are blind or who have low vision, to achieve their vocational goals. On these pages you will find an online application for service, that will allow you to apply for assistive technology devices that will help you to either attain traditional gainful employment, or start your own business. The Legendary Insights Foundation has been established in the name of my husband, Billy Ray Legendary, who made his mark on the world in ways he will never know.
For more information about my beloved Billy, please see his tribute pages. Then, please make a donation to the Legendary Insights Foundation, so that you can help others the way Billy did. Your dollars will benefit people who are visually impaired, who want to re-enter the workforce after vision loss, attain more lucrative employment, transition into the workforce after acquiring retraining or vocational rehabilitation, or start their own business. The Legendary Insights Foundation will make appropriate technology purchases that will enable access to greater dignity and a quality of life that might have been thought to be unreachable.

Eloquent Insights
Eloquent Insights is a sole proprietorship business that offers speaking services for your conference, classroom or community event. Eloquent Insights is one of several online destinations that use the Insights name. All are owned by Laura Legendary, of Legendary Insights. Laura has been a speaking professional since 1998, and Eloquent Insights first went online in 2004.
Since then, the project has expanded to include several online resources, each of which pertains to a different aspect of disability awareness, accessibility and assistive technology. You can have these bits of insight delivered to your email box, by signing up for our free newsletter. In-Home Insights is a destination created for caregivers, and is augmented by caregivers who contribute their own wisdom and experiences in an effort to help others. You are invited to take part by submitting your own caregiving tips.
Accessible Insights
Accessible Insights is devoted entirely to helping you choose the best tools to maximize functionality and independence for individuals with vision loss. Here you will find some helpful assistive technology and adaptive devices to enhance the home or work environment.
Accessible Insights will feature product reviews and recommendations to help you navigate the sometimes-overwhelming world of assistive technology. Look for the "It's on Laura's List" icons throughout the site for products that I have personally used and reviewed. You will also find links to other resources from which to acquire additional guidance and support.
